Viimeinen Lontoo-päivä oli pyhitetty puistorentoilulle. Jättimäinen High Gate -hautuumaa imi meidät sisäänsä, mutta selvisimme vielä nukkumaan päiväunia kevätauringossa Hyde Parkin nurmelle. Autuutta! Illalla kutsui Palladium ja reissun toinen keikka. Ryan Adams, tule Suomeenkin, jooko.
Jälleen kerran vastoin kaikkea järkeämme päätimme viettää yön lentokentällä, sillä paluulento lähti niin aikaisin, että puolikasta yötä hostellissa olisi ollut turhaa maksaa. Emme vaan taida koskaan oppia, miten unettomia ne tunnit kylmällä, tyhjällä kentällä voivatkaan olla. :D Tai ehkä tämä oli viimeinen kerta moiselle, who knows. Viimeinen kertani Lontoossa matka ei silti taatusti ollut. ♥
Our last day in London was spent entirely relaxing, mostly in parks. The gigantic High Gate cemetery sucked us right in, but we still managed to take an afternoon nap in the warm spring sun in Hyde Park. Bliss! In the evening another musical happening was calling us, aka London Palladium and the lovely Ryan Adams.
Once again, despite our common sense, we decided to spend the night at Heathrow. This is purely because our flight back was scheduled so early that paying for half a night's accommodation would've been a bit stupid. I guess we never learn how sleepless those hours spent at a cold, empty airport can be. :D Or maybe this was the last time for that, who knows. My last time in London it definitely wasn't. ♥
